This is a strong and sturdy stand that will easily hold any laptop, at a wide range of keyboard angles. The hinges are pretty tight - the stand comes with tools (seen in the photos) that allow you to adjust the hinge screws if needed.
Almost immediately after opening this I was able to set it up on my desk and get my 16-inch Macbook Pro on it. Seems plenty sturdy and free of wobble -- I have no concerns. The rotation function is more handy than I would've figured; it makes clicking noises as you turn it. The box includes a couple tools in case you want to adjust the tightness, but I didn't find it necessary. What else can I say? It just works.

This stand is very well built, it is solid and has a good heft to it, it has protective pads to protect your laptop and has a great range of motion. I use a laptop to work remotely and my camera has always bugged me, it is low and it is not a pleasing angle. With this stand I have been able to raise my laptop up to hugely improve the way I look on camera, I can now have the camera level with my eyes. I can also raise and tilt my laptop up to allow me to stand at my desk without needing a standing desk ( a bit lower than a desk would be but fully useable and helps to reduce the amount of time spent sitting). Another nice feature is being able to rotate the laptop without moving the base. Definitely a must have!
My external monitor isn't adjustable so I use the to even out the two monitors. It stays where I put it. If you're looking for a good laptop stand you won't be sorry if you choose this one. It is very well made
