Standing it vertically made a noticeable difference in how warm my MacBook gets during long video calls. Better airflow, cleaner desk, and the stand looks great. Would buy again.

Really happy with this. The auto-lock mechanism works exactly as described and it freed up a ton of desk space. Docking a single device it's perfect. Only reason for 4 stars is I wish the base was slightly wider for peace of mind on bumpy desks.

I was skeptical about a stand that holds by weight alone but it absolutely works. Slide the laptop in, weight locks it, lift to release. No fiddling. Really well made and the silver finish looks premium.
